Become The "Off-Site" Resource
By: Lynda Curtin
Your clients are likely spending thousands of dollars hiring outside experts to provide inspiration and education at their off-sites. It's not always easy finding the right expert. Make it your business to be very helpful here.
1. You are likely receiving videos to preview on a regular basis. Write video reviews and provide ideas on how your clients could incorporate them during their off-site meetings. Circulate your reviews and post them on your intranet. Great for tight budgets and when time is very limited
2. Find out who your clients are hiring. Get invited to attend. Write a review and send it to other clients who would benefit. You may also discover hidden needs that you can help your client address
3. Send your clients brochures from experts you think they will be interested in. Direct your clients to their websites
4. List a business expert search service on your intranet/catalogue/brochures
5. Publish a list of approved experts
6. Keep in touch with your external network about the experts they are hiring and why
7. Market yourself as a business partner and helpful resource. Your clients will start to think of your products and services when they need help.
